Brutal Honesty
Address the actual condition of the business and the work, even when the answer is inconvenient.
About Unicus Marketing
Unicus was built for the point where thinking must become action. We identify what needs to happen, take responsibility for moving it forward, and stay with the work until it produces something useful.
Who We Are
Unicus is an independent, founder-led company shaped by entrepreneurship, creative problem-solving, business ownership, and more than three decades of hands-on execution.
We are at our best when the need is real, the answer is not obvious, and someone must take ownership of what happens next. We bring clarity without bureaucracy, capability without unnecessary layers, and urgency without sacrificing judgment.
The Origin of the Standard
Unicus began in 1993, but the principles behind it were established much earlier: work hard, respect the details, protect the client, and never put your name on something you would not stand behind.
Those principles were not written for a website. They were learned through family, military service, business ownership, pressure, failure, correction, and thousands of completed assignments. They remain the standard today.
Quality is not a finish applied at the end. It is how the work is approached from the beginning.
What Guides Us
Markets change. Technology changes. The work changes. The principles governing how we show up do not.
Address the actual condition of the business and the work, even when the answer is inconvenient.
Responsibility does not end at the edge of an assignment or disappear when conditions become difficult.
Treat their business, resources, ideas, confidentiality, and trust as assets placed in our care.
Small failures compound. Small improvements do too. The final five percent still carries our name.
Measure honestly. Strengthen what works. Learn from what fails. Change direction when the evidence changes.
Effort is not the outcome. The work must become useful, operational, and capable of moving the business.
Unicus was built through deadlines, launches, changing markets, new technologies, difficult decisions, failed concepts, successful outcomes, and the responsibility to keep moving through all of it.
The value of experience is not the number of years. It is the judgment earned inside them—the ability to recognize what matters, see what is not working, make the adjustment, and move without wasting time defending the past.
The Business Reality
Every idea, decision, investment, system, and piece of work must ultimately contribute to the company’s ability to grow, compete, operate, or generate revenue.
Not every concept will succeed. That is part of real execution. Test it. Measure it. Learn from it. Make the adjustment. Move forward.
